What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is the process of covering metal with a polyester or epoxy powder, which is then heated to fuse into a protective layer. It is applied as a free-flowing powder in a completely dry form and is typically applied electrostatistically, then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". It is usually used to create a hard finish that is considered tougher than conventional paint.
